FAQ

Q. Where are you from?

I am born in Lienz, Austria and raised in a town nearby called Kufstein, wedged in-between Germany and Italy. Imagine 360 mountain views, ancient buildings, a huge fortress and clear blue lakes dotted across the forests.

Q. Where do you live?

Innsbruck, Austria

Q. How old are you?

I am 27 years young. My birthday is on June 29, 1993.

Q. Do you have a motto?

Create more than you consume.

Q. What camera gear do you use?

Remember, the most valuable part of creating a meaningful photograph is your eye. Aside from that, I recommend a mirrorless setup, due to weight and easiness of use. Invest in a great lens to make the most of the camera body. Q. How did you get started?

Aged 18, I came to New Zealand to study English. My school fell over, I lost my visa and all there was left to do was travel; something I didn't think of doing beforehand. So I went off, explored and ultimately settled down in New Zealand. Fast-forward four years, a University degree and countless countries later; I decided to purchase a camera. And that's when I became famous. Who am I kidding? I played around with it and soon (half a year later with absolute zero knowledge of photography, social media, SEO or any other such thing) decided to make a website and Instagram account. At this point, it was all go. I spent my days at university trying to maintain my GPA (something my future corporate career relied on), working two jobs, applying for jobs, scholarships and a masters programme, running a blog, networking and convincing myself I now was a fashion blogger. Long story short, I don't fancy the idea of mindless consumption for the sake of filling a void within. Slowly and steadily (we're talking snail speed), I carved out a path which led me to tell stories through photography. Despite it being my full time job three years later, I am learning something new every day and feel beyond excited for many more years of hard work, sacrifice, creativity and deep connection.
