A Sea of Stars is one of my most popular prints and certainly one of the most special, heartfelt ones to me personally. It's not a perfect photograph, but it's truly unique.
I took this image in the Maldives, and it's a story I won't forget. Click here to read it and also learn about the why's and how's of this natural phenomenon.
My printing supplier is 100% carbon-neutral. Any carbon emitted in the production and delivery of your order is offset fully via Greenpeace's The Gold Standard program.
About the paper, ink and printer:
All of my art is printed on Giclée Hahnemühle Pearl paper. It's the very best of qualities when it comes to fine art, acid-free, archival, and - best of all -environmentally friendly printing. The paper is resin coated with a fibrous feel. The satin finish of the resin coating gives depth to the image which combined with the texture and vibrant colour reproduction give the image the feel of an oil painting. It is very suitable for mounting.
We use a higher quality of fade-resistant, archival, pigment-based inks. When applied to high-quality archival substrates, like the Hahnemühle cotton-based, acid-free Rag papers we use, this results in an unbeatable archival lifespan of up to 200 years. Giclée printers have a higher dot per square inch resolution than normal inkjet printers, allowing us to do justice to the natural beauty I capture for a living.
Your print will deliver unrivalled colour accuracy and last a lifetime (or three).
